Process of Exterior and Interior Car Detailing

Although many people consider car washing and car detailing as the same thing, this is not the case. Detailed car washing Is a time-consuming process and goes beyond regular car wash to make the vehicle look perfectly clean from inside and outside. Although both methods involve cleaning the car but car detailing is deeper and more complicated than a simple car wash. Exterior and interior car detailing refers to a whole process that includes washing exterior and interior parts, vacuuming, waxing, polishing and removing any scratch, and reconditioning the car. Interior Car Detailing

Interior car detailing requires more effort than exterior detailing. The interior detailing process involves cleaning the inner parts. The components present in an interior cabin, including leather, plastics, natural fibers, vinyl, are cleaned. For the cleaning of the interior cabinet, techniques like steam-cleaning and vacuuming, are used.

  • Vacuuming

  • Brushing and Steam Cleaning

Exterior detailing is also not as simple as washing. It involves cleaning car gleam, minimizing surface stretching, washing the tires, polishing, and applying shealing pain. The process includes

  • Washing Wheels and Tires

Tires and wheels should be cleaned first to avoid any kind of dirt from being transferred later. Cleaning of tire is preferred before any other step because undried water can result in scraping of paint, and it is also possible that dust and overspray will cling to the clean paint. Work should be done on one tire at a time, use good quality cleaners to clean the tires, and soft brushes should be used to clean dirt, grease, and other particles.  

  • Cleaning Outer Area

Clean from top to bottom as water dripping from the top can make the work lengthy. High-quality soaps, shampoos, and micro towels should be used for cleaning purposes.   • Tire Shine

Tire shine is applied after the drying of the car. It helps to prevent the accumulation of brake dust on tires. Make sure that car is derived after the complete drying of the shine.
